climate debt is long overdue
third world countries demand reparations
forest fires burn homes 
tsunami cry tears 
oil slicks spit environmental genocide
disaster lurks around each corner

who's going to pay for
this environmental injustice
hoping you'll remember this time
while mercury is retrograde
it's time for the climate debt to be paid
