we stand on the edge of tomorrow
trying to take a peek into the future
stuck in this bloody crack of the universe
trying to fill the gap
revelations run rampant
thru the minds of the righteous
convinced that the end
is not far away
so they pray
that their sins will be washed clean
like the blood on their hands
in the name of some god
at the gate of eternity
but Karma stands at the entrance
thumbing thru the book of life
checking to see if the balance is overdue
and there's no court for bankruptcy
for the so-called "soldiers of god"
who never understood 
that the commandment "Thou Shalt Not Kill"
was made for everyone
